Shooting is now officially underway for Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, with its two stars, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan having a swell time.
Fans will not forget the lasting impact of the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), culminating in the phenomenal Avengers: Endgame and Marvel, moving past that phase, unveiled The Falcon and the Winter Soldier as the first of their Disney + original series which will be available for streaming in 2020.
Sebastian Stan returns as Bucky Barnes (a.k.a. the Winter Soldier), while Anthony Mackie reprises his role as Sam Wilson (a.k.a. Falcon) and in a short video clip, both of them argue briefly and it becomes obvious that they are having fun together and hopefully their chemistry will translate on the big screen when the series makes its debut.
Actor Daniel Bruhl will also make another appearance as Baron Zemo (fans felt that he was underused in Captain America: Civil War) and his role here will be expanded.
Naturally, much is expected from the series but the formidable combination of Marvel and Disney should work wonders.
