The film rights from the Michael Jackson estate to make an authorized biopic on the late King of Pop has been secured by producer Graham King.
King’s production company GK Films will have access to all of the late star’s music and Oscar-nominated writer John Logan will write the screenplay.
The project hasn’t been attached to any studio yet but reports confirm that the movie will focus on the singer’s entire career and will not tone down content; what viewers will see will be just as it happened.
Michael Jackson was accused of child abuse in the HBO documentary Leaving Neverland and it is expected that his personal life will also be shown.
