Marvel Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will continue the metaphysical tale of the eponymous character as he protects earth form sinister entities.
Kevin Feige praised the title of the sequel, calling it “the greatest we’ve ever come up with” and gave fans a tease of what they should expect in the movie.
Clarifying the misconception surrounding its title, Feige said that even though the film’s director Scott Derrickson had pitched as scary, it wasn’t a horror movie.

Or Temple of Doom, of course, or Gremlins, or Poltergeist. These are the movies that invented the PG-13 rating, by the way.

Feige also revealed that some surprising new characters would make an appearance, adding that they found a way to make it work.
The next Doctor Strange film … features some new MCU characters which will be making their debut in that movie you won’t expect or won’t guess who it is but we found a cool way to make it work because we want to make a particular type of movie there and there was a character who we always wanted to do something with who will fit really well there.
This piece of juicy info just adds to the mystery of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It is billed for release on May 7, 2021.
