Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to literally crack open the multiverse as revealed by Marvel Chief, Kevin Feige.
Doctor Strange took MCU fans to the mystical worlds with the good doctor going on to play a vital role in the war against Thanos and his minions in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Now it seems the sequel will take us even beyond to explore the infinite possibilities of the multiverse (scientifically speaking, the multiverse refers to not one universe, but parallel universes).
Kevin Feige made the big reveal recently, saying that the multiverse is the next step in the evolution of the MCU and that the Doctor Strange sequel would crack it up in ways that will affect the Disney + shows.
When we first started the MCU, it was all about Tony Stark. Introduce the world to Tony Stark and that Iron Man armor. Then [we] went on to teach people what Asgardians were and learn about super soldiers then bring them together in Avengers. I’ve always loved space movies and I’ve always loved big intergalactic tales, which is why we did Guardians and the audience came with us so we could do a movie like Endgame.
I always wanted to do time travel, which we finally got to do in Endgame. The multiverse is the next step in the evolution of the MCU and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is going to crack it open in ways that will have repercussions for a Disney+ series before it that’s not WandaVision and for movies after it in a big fun way.Kevin Feige – geektyrant.com
The implication is that audiences will get to see more metaphysical stuff and that means more eye-popping effects. If there’s one studio that has never lacked in both capacities, it’s Marvel so that will be no problem for them.
More news on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be made known as they surface.
