Adam Copeland, better known in the wrestling circuit as former WWE star Edge, is billed to star in the upcoming heist movie Money Plane.
The film will be directed by Andrew Lawrence and Copeland joins movie veterans Kelsey Grammer, Thomas Jane, and Denise Richards.
Written by Lawrence and Tim Schaaf, Money Plane follows a professional thief (Copeland) who has to rob an underworld casino on an airplane to pay a debt he owes his ruthless boss (Grammer). As the heist unfolds in midair, the second man on the ground (Jane) discovers a sinister double-cross that threatens the entire operation.
Looks like the film will be suspenseful as well as thrilling. The action taking place on a plane in flight should be something wonderful to behold.
Adam Joseph Copeland is a Canadian actor and retired professional wrestler whose stint in the WWE led to him being one of the most decorated wrestlers of all-time.
As the character Edge, Copeland won 31 Championships in the WWE overall and is also one of the company’s longest-serving employees, being with them since 1996.
He has made guest appearances on television shows and his next film project is in the movie Grand Isle opposite Nicolas Cage.
Copeland currently co-stars in the History Channel series Vikings as Kjetill Flatnose.
