Nollywood actor Bobby Obodo has criticized movies produced by the industry which are available for viewing on Netflix.
Netflix as the biggest streaming platform in the world has a lot of content ranging from originals to musicals and animation, with series for everyone as well.
Some Nollywood movies are also on the streaming service and Obodo has lamented their quality, saying that most of them are painful to see.
The actor who made his opinion known on Twitter stated that he hoped creative filmmakers in the industry would start putting out good content on Netflix to save them the shame and ridicule that could befall Nollywood.
I hope creative producers/directors/writers start putting out good movies on there to save us the shame & ridicule that cld befall #Nollywood, before it's too late. Lazy/predictable storylines, horrible extras, disastrous costumes, etc. Come on, mehn. This opporutnity is golden!
