The plot of Tenet is being kept a secret and details about the film are in bits and pieces. From the trailer, the hero is some kind of stuntman who gets a second chance to do something that will have a major implication on our world.
The little glimpses of the visual effects point to the fact that time travel and manipulation may also be a part of the movie. A scene in which Robert Pattinson asks John David Washington’s character what happened there has the latter answer: “It hasn’t happened yet.” That clearly shows that they have possibly traveled back in time to just before whatever happened there did.
Billed as an action thriller, Tenet is written and directed by Christopher Nolan and stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh.
It will be released by Warner Bros. on July 17, 2020, and the trailer is available for viewing below.
