Asian megastar Jackie Chan makes a noteworthy comeback in the trailer for the fantasy action film The Knight of Shadows.
If you are an action fan who grew up in the 80s and 90s, then you were among those privileged to have seen the phenomenon that is Jackie Chan.
Bringing spectacular action, death-defying stunts and laugh-out-loud humor is tons, the action star featured in many movies that made him revered worldwide.
Chan’s fame saw him feature in some Hollywood films, of which the Rush Hour films (with Chris Tucker) is a notable example. He even starred alongside his closest rival in the Asian movie industry Jet Li in what fans remember as an exciting adventure.
After all these years, the 65-year-old still has what it takes to get those bare knuckles working and make some high-flying leaps. These will come to play in The Knight of Shadows, a film directed by Yan Jia.
When a village is plagued by a demon who is behind the disappearance of young girls, a demon hunter (Chan) is called to help them deal with the menace.
The trailer shows some impressive special effects and Chan himself giving a funny illustration of how demons look. We hope that it’s the total package as we expect nothing less from the legendary actor.
The film was released yesterday, January 21, 2020. Check out the trailer below:
