The Supreme court on Wednesday validated the election victory of Taraba state governor, Darius Ishaku.

Ishaku’s victory had earlier been affirmed by the Appeal court on November 8 after it dismissed the appeal filed by the All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate in the March 9, 2019 poll, Abubakar Danladi.
In a seperate judgement, the Supreme Court also validated the election of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State striking out the appeal by APGA for lacking in merit.
