‘Citadel’: Richard Madden & Priyanka Chopra To Star In Spy Series

Citadel, the new international spy series from the Russo Brothers, will be headlined by movie stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Madden was introduced to worldwide audiences when he played the eldest son of Ned Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones. Though he was killed untimely, his portrayal of a determined, loyal and dutiful son endeared him to fans.

Chopra Jonas is an Indian actress and the winner of Miss World 2000 who has featured in both Bollywood and Hollywood movies. She is married to American singer and actor Nick Jonas.

Citadel comes from Amazon and Russo’s production company AGBO and Josh Applebaum, Andre Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg will serve as writers and executive producers.

Plot details haven’t been released as of yet but Odu News learned that there will be local language productions in Mexico, Italy, and India.

The Russos have a way of turning anything they touch into gold and it is expected that with their involvement the upcoming espionage series will be something out of the ordinary.
