Fashion blogger and social media sensation Temi Otedola is set to show her acting chops in Kunle Afolayan’s next movie Citation.
The daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola is currently in a relationship with music star Mr. Eazi and will make her Nollywood debut in a film that is set in a university environment.
Temi who is also the younger sister of DJ Cuppy joins the likes of Joke Silva, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Ini Edo, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Adjetey Anang, Gabriel Afolayan, Sadiq Daba, and Wole Olowomojuore.
Citation is a college drama about a female postgraduate student whose life becomes a living hell when she has to deal with the advances of a randy lecturer. The film is looking to empower women to stand up for themselves and become successful in their endeavors.
The film is a joint partnership between Afolayan and Ford Foundation and will be shot in the new Canon EOS C500 Mark II camera; the first time the camera will be used in Africa.
