Disney’s ‘Bob The Musical’ Finds Its Star In Channing Tatum
Channing Tatum returns after a short hiatus

After a short break from the acting circuit, Hollywood star Channing Tatum is poised to return as the star and producer of Bob the Musical, an upcoming Disney project.

An individual with knowledge of the production told The Wrap that the actor will produce with his company Free Association, alongside partners Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan.

Joining Tatum in production duties are Tripp Vinson and Chris Bender. The studio is reportedly looking for a director.

Bob the Musical is about a regular guy whose worst nightmare comes to life after a blow to his head leads to him losing consciousness and waking up to find that he is trapped in a musical.

Initially set for 2004, the project has been in development hell, making it one of the longest at Disney in this century. Tom Cruise was interested in it at one point.

Tatum is also set to headline Paramount’s Soundtrack of Silence which will be produced by Free Association and Temple Hill.
