‘Guns Akimbo’ Trailer: Daniel Radcliffe Must Survive His Worst Nightmare

‘Guns Akimbo’ Trailer: Daniel Radcliffe Must Survive His Worst Nightmare
GUNS AKIMBO stars Daniel Radcliffe as an unwilling game participant

A down-on-his-luck guy must do all he can to stay alive while being hunted by a bloodthirsty killer in the crazy action comedy called Guns Akimbo.

As over-the-top action films go, Guns Akimbo is up there with the silliest and actor Daniel Radcliffe looks convincing as the reluctant good guy who wants no part of the trouble that comes his way.

Written and directed by Jason Lei Howden, the film stars Radcliffe as Miles, a guy whose dreary life takes a turn for the worse when he is forced into a game of death with two guns bolted to his hands.

The pulse-pounding trailer is a fanboy’s dream come true and the hard-hitting action, combined with outrageous characters are a feast for the eyes.

Samara Weaving plays a badass killer

One thing that is also worth mentioning is Radcliffe’s American accent (which he pulls off convincingly). His British tongue is lost as he swears and curses through his torturous ordeal. His talent as an actor is evident and he is far from the role of the young wizard we saw in the Harry Potter movies.

Samara Weaving as Nix is a genuine badass and I pity those who think they can mess with her because if she is what the trailer shows then hell is something that accompanies her wherever she goes.

Guns Akimbo had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2019, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on February 28, 2020.
