Cristiano Ronaldo seems to get better each day as he marked his entering into the 2020 decade with a hat-trick to give Juventus a convincing victory against Cagiiari.
All goals at the Allianz Stadium came in the second half, as Cagliari successfully managed to resist the hosts’ pressure over the first 45 minutes.
However, a defensive mistake only four minutes after the break saw Cristiano Ronaldo give Juventus a 1-0 lead.
The Portuguese waited 18 minutes for the second goal, which came from the spot, after Marko Rog’s uncautious challenge in the penalty area.
Gonzalo Higuain scored the third in the 81st minute, while Ronaldo completed his first hat-trick in 2020 just 60 seconds later to set the final score.
