Marvel’s upcoming Black Widow will have fans seeing a far younger Natasha Romanoff as bits and pieces of her past will be seen.
The impact of Phase Three of the MCU still hasn’t left us and still building upon that, Marvel Studios is giving us the last journey with one of the founding members of the Avengers.
Right from when she made her entry in Iron Man 2, Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. Black Widow (played by the delectable Scarlet Johansson) has commanded the respect of millions of fans.
Highly skilled in the game of espionage and the art of deception, Natasha formed a unique bond of friendship with Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) as a result of him choosing to save her life instead of ending it.
Teaming up with earth’s mightiest heroes, Black Widow played her part (which proved to be no small one) in the battle to save the planet from the Mad Titan named Thanos (Josh Brolin), laying down her life for the noble cause.
Someone that remarkable deserves to be honored specially and it came as a wonderful surprise when Marvel decided to release a solo film about the assassin turned superhero.
Black Widow will have Natasha confront the ghosts of her past, teaming up with family to settle old scores. It will not be easy but the fearless avenger has never been one to shy away from a fair fight.
Speaking at the red carpet on Sunday at the Oscars, the producers said that the upcoming film would delve deep into the heroine’s past, back in time when they were much younger.
They said:
Well we’re going back in time to when they were much younger. And we have actors playing even younger than they are, the same characters type of thing. And we’re in different countries… well, there’s all sorts of in it. You can see some of it in the trailer that’s out now.
Black Widow stars Scarlet Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Rachel Weisz, William Hurt, and Ray Winstone. It will be released on May 1, 2020.
