Fans worldwide got a glimpse of Disney’s upcoming television shows at the recent Super Bowl event, and now the company has spoken on the release window of the second season of The Mandalorian and when other new series like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision will also arrive.
Disney Chief Bob Iger while speaking to investors recently disclosed that their streaming platform has reached 28.6 million paid subscribers three months after it was launched and also opened up on when the upcoming shows will be made available.
The Mandalorian season two will arrive in October 2020, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier lands in August 2020, and WandaVision will be available in December 2020.
The series Loki (also seen briefly at the Super Bowl) won’t debut until sometime in 2021 and Iger stated that The Mandalorian will likely go beyond two seasons, teasing a spinoff.
The Disney CEO said that there is the possibility of “infusing The Mandalorian with more characters and taking those characters in their own direction in terms of series.”
Iger further revealed that there are many more Marvel television shows currently in development.
