The second time is a charm and that seems to be the case with Knives Out as its sequel has been greenlit by Lionsgate.
Hollywood director Rian Johnson created something out of this world when he released the unforgettable whodunnit last year to rave reviews.
Starring Anna De Armas, Chris Evans, Daniel Craig, and Christopher Plummer, Knives Out distinguished itself from other crime movies with its intricate plot and mind-mending twists.
With the success of the original, there have been talks of a sequel and now that has been made official as reported by Deadline.
Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer has confirmed that the studio is making a second part happen, with Johnson returning for directorial duties (he revealed last month that he was working on a script).
It hasn’t been revealed if Craig will be back as the savvy detective who solved the mystery in the first part but fans can be hopeful that he most likely will.
