Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianni have both been laid to rest two weeks after the fatal helicopter crash that claimed their lives and others onboard.
The NBA star’s death shook the world and the loss was more devastating with his teenage daughter dying alongside him in the accident.
The others who perished are passengers Christina Mauser, John Altobelli, Keri Altobelli, Alyssa Altobelli, Sarah Chester, Payton Chester, and pilot Ara Zobayan.
They were all headed to a for a basketball tournament at Kobe’s Mamba Sport Academy when the crash occurred and they all died.
Kobe and his daughter got a private ceremony but there will be a public memorial on February 24, 2020, at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles where fans will have the opportunity to pay their last respect.
The wife of the late star, Vanessa Bryant is still grieving and recently stated that her brain still finds it difficult to process the loss.
