A Quiet Place II will no longer arrive in theaters on its scheduled release date as it has been delayed due to the spread of coronavirus.
The film is a sequel to the 2018 surprise hit in which the Abbott family struggles to survive in a world overrun by aliens who hunt humans via sound.
Starring Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, Djimon Hounsou, and Cillian Murphy, A Quiet Place II had a release date of March 20, 2020, but has been delayed due to COVID-19.
Taking to his Instagram page, director John Krasinski (who is the real-life husband of Blunt) disclosed that due to the changing circumstances of the happenings around the world, the release date has been pushed further.
