Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, the producer of the upcoming Nollywood and Bollywood collaborative film Namaste Wahala has announced a new date for it due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The director made the announcement via Instagram, where she revealed that the release date had been extended from April 2020 to October 2020.
She said the decision was imperative as the post-production schedule had been extended.


According to reports, Namaste Wahala features a blend of Nigerian and Indian cultures. It stars Ini-Dima Okojie, Ruslaan Mumtaz, Joke Silva, Richard Mofe-Damijo, and Segal Sujata.
The upcoming movie is the first Nollywood project to be affected by the spread of COVID-19 as Hollywood has suffered the biggest loss since the outbreak of the virus.
