Even as she gears up to get married to heartthrob Orlando Bloom, award-winning singer Katy Perry is also prepared to welcome her first child with him and hopes it will be a girl.
Entertainment Tonight followed up on the artist’s performance in Australia recently and while at the event, she was vocal about wanting the baby to be a female.
The American Idol judge, whose wedding with Orlando was postponed as a result of them not getting the location they wanted, told the crowd of music lovers that she craved for her unborn child to be a girl.
It is public knowledge that Orlando has a son named Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr (a former Victoria’s Secret model).
While performing her song Wide Awake, Katy shared her thoughts with the fans, and they responded with loud screams and cheers.

She also revealed that the baby was due to arrive in the coming summer months, stating further in an interview that it was the perfect time to have a child.
