Reality TV star Kim Kardashian-West has taken a swipe at singer Taylor Swift over a leaked tape which has shed more light on the feud between the artist and rapper Kanye West.
The tape has seemingly reopened old wounds, resurrecting the 2016 clash between Kanye and Taylor, and the former’s wife didn’t take kindly to the recent development as she said the move was ‘self-serving’.

Kim was reacting to the remarks that Taylor made on her Instagram account on Monday afternoon, declaring that the leak of the 2016 phone call between herself and Kanye was vindication for her.
Kanye has documented the making of all of his albums for his personal archive, however has never released any of it for public consumption & the call between the two of them would have remained private or would have gone in the trash had she not lied & forced me to defend him.

To add, Kanye as an artist has every right to document his musical journey and process, just like she recently did through her documentary.

I never edited the footage (another lie) – I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative.

Taylor opined that somebody had edited and manipulated the whole thing to frame her and put her, her family and fans through “hell for four years.”
Tweeting her reply, Kim contented that the tape was edited, saying that the ‘bi*ch’ language used by her husband was not read to Taylor in his song Famous, disclosing further that it was never the reason for the dispute.
In the Famous song by Kanye, the rapper had reportedly included the line I made that bi*ch famous, a reference to Taylor and Kim is now declaring that they weren’t used without her permission.
Part of Kim’s response reads:
“To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that ‘Kanye never called to ask for permission…’.
They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word bi*ch was used without her permission.”
