Meghan Markle has returned to the gig that made her famous with involvement in Disneynature’s Elephant.
Over three years after she left acting to be with husband Prince Harry, Meghan lends her voice to the upcoming documentary which is due to be available on Disney+ on April 3, 2020.
It was revealed that she did the recording for the production before their decision to step down from royal duties, and despite leaving royalty, the studio still refers to her as the Duchess of Sussex in the promo clip which was released on Thursday.
Elephant is about an African pachyderm named Shani, and her offspring Jomo. It will focus on the pilgrimage their herd makes (hundreds of miles across the Kalahari Desert).
Leading the herd is the indomitable Gaia, who must alongside her followers, must endure the hardship they encounter as they follow the footsteps of their ancestors on a quest to reach a green lush paradise.
Proceeds from the documentary will go to Elephant Without Borders, a charity that Meghan and Harry reportedly hold dear.
