Berry made the revelation yesterday to Jimmy Fallon, narrating how she almost died from choking while shooting a love scene.

The actress found the moment both scary and embarrassing as she was with her co-star Pierce Brosnan (he was the actor playing Agent 007 at the time).

Die Another Day was released in 2002 and is the twentieth film in the James Bond series.

According to Berry, her character was about seducing James Bond when she began choking.

She said:

“I’m supposed to be trying to be all sexy with a fig – and then I end up choking on it. And he [Brosnan] had to get up there and do the Heimlich maneuver.

So not sexy, so not sexy. He was there for me, and he will always be one of my favorite people in the whole world.”

Halle Maria Berry is an American actress who won the Academy Award for Best actress for her performance in the romantic drama film Monster’s Ball (2001).
