Fast & Furious star Tyrese Gibson has given fans a bit of what to expect in the upcoming Marvel movie Morbius.
Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel, Morbius stars Jared Leto as a man suffering from a rare blood disease who attempts a dangerous that bestows on him vampiric abilities.
The film’s release was pushed further from July 2020 to March 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and beyond the first trailer, not much is known about it.
Maxim recently caught up with Tyrese Gibson who is part of the cast (he plays the cybernetically enhanced FBI Agent Simon Stroud) and he dropped a few hints on what fans should expect to see.
Speaking on his character, Tyrese said:
“That arm has all kinds of special effects and powers, and that’s going to mess people up when they see this movie.
I have done some superhero sh*t but I ain’t never been a superhero. I had to explain this to my daughter.”
It isn’t clear if Tyrese’s character counts when it comes to superheroes but judging from his tone, we can safely assume that there will be some spectacular action sequences in Morbius.
