Director Tim Story is in talks to direct Kevin Hart in the superhero comedy Night Wolf.
Variety reports that STX Films is in the final stage of negotiations for Story to re-team with Hart for the upcoming movie.
Hart and Story previously worked together on Ride Along movies and Think Like A Man. The former came on to the Night Wolf project last year, and will star and produce via his HartBeat Productions.
Night Wolf follows Hart’s character meeting his future father-in-law for the first time only for him to find out that he is secretly the suoerhero known as the Might Wolf.
If and when the deal with Story is finalized, the producer and director will produce through his production outfit, The Story Company.
He has directed other films like Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Barbershop, and the upcoming Tom & Jerry.
