Mulan will now be released on August 21, 2020, a little over a week after Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet comes out.

According to the news outlet, Disney was wary about having Mulan as the first film released in theaters in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis.

With it’s budget said to be $200 million, Mulan is expected to make some huge money and the way this can be accomplished is for it to have a strong theatrical run.
