A haunting trailer of Marvel’s Helstrom series shows a most curious family and a series of otherworldly happenings.
Starring Tom Austen and Sydney Lemmon as Daimon and Ana Helstrom, the series focuses on the pair chasing down the worst of humanity.
The trailer shows the brother and sister pay a visit to their mother (who is locked up in what is assumed to be a mental facility). It chills their very bones as she is very far from being a normal parent.
Apparently, Daimon and Ana’s mother unleashed something into the world, and this is what the siblings set out to find.
The rest of the clip teases the scares and thrills to come as the brother and sister must take on the bizarre as they try to hang on to their sanity.
Helstrom is set to be released on Hulu on October 16, 2020, and will consist of 10 episodes. See the trailer below.
Amazon inches closer on securing the rights to Without Remorse, an action thriller starring Michael B. Jordan.
Variety reports that the company is in final negotiations to acquire the film which sees Jordan play US Navy Seal, John Clark.
Plot details are still sketchy but we do know that the plot is in the vein of a typical Tom Clancy thriller (he wrote the book on which the movie is based).
Without Remorse is directed by Stefano Sollima and co-stars Jamie Bell, Jodie-Turner Smith, and Luke Mitchell.
George Clooney gets set to direct a coming-of-age drama titled The Tender Bar for Amazon Studios.
The movie is based on the bestselling 2005 memoir by J.R. Moehringer and is about a boy growing up in Long Island who seeks out unlikely father figures among the patrons at his uncle’s bar.
It hasn’t been revealed if Clooney himself has a role in the film but he has starred in all the movies he has directed, so he may also play a role here.
The script will be adapted by Oscar-winning writer William Monahan and produced by Amazon
