Anxious movie fans can now rest easy as a new release date has been set for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Tenet.

As announced by Warner Bros., the Christopher Nolan-directed film will open first internationally, followed by select cities in the United States.

Per reports, Tenet has been given an August 26, 2020 release date, and will open in more than 70 countries worldwide, including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Russia, Spain, and the U.K.

The United States release will follow on Labor Day weekend in select cities.

A spinoff series set in the world of The Witcher has been officially announced by .

Titled The Witcher: Blood Origin, the series is set 1,200 years before the events of The Witcher and will reportedly show the very first Witcher.

According to showrunner and Executive Producer Declan de Barra, the show will reveal the Elven World before the time of man, and it will be heavily influenced by the books.

Given that The Witcher was well-received, it was only a matter of time before the world it introduced would be expanded. Hopefully, we will also get a charismatic protagonist like Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia.

Variety reports that The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced key voting dates for the 78th annual Golden Globes.

The event will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler and will take place on Sunday, February 28, 2021, almost two months from its annual January date due to COVID-19 concerns.

It hasn’t been revealed if the award show will be held physically or if actors will be able to campaign as they do at press conferences with HFPA voters.

The release calendar for the films in contention at the Golden Globes will be over a span of 14 months; from January 1, 2020, through February 28, 2021.
