The god of thunder is set to make an impactful return in his fourth movie.
Both of them have given insights on where things stand with the script and when filming is scheduled to start, and we have the details!
According to Portman, Thor: Love and Thunder will begin filming at the start of 2021, something she revealed during an Instagram Live chat for Serena Williams’ clothing brand during the weekend.
While speaking during the brief conversation, the actress remarked, “We are shooting in Australia at the beginning of next year.”
The second update comes from director Waititi who opened up about the production while chatting with BBC News.
I think it’s going really good. We’ve been writing the script off and on for over a year and… actually, this week, doing another pass on it.”
He added that the script for the movie is “insane” and “also very romantic”, dwelling on the romance part by stating:
I want to make something that I’ve never done or never cared for. I would like to attack something like that.”
In the recently-released clip from Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League, fans glimpsed Superman wearing a black suit. Why exactly? We provide the answers.
There has been a lot of hype around the upcoming Snyder cut and knowing that the filmmaker’s version is finally on its way is a dream come true for many movie lovers.
In a scene from the film, we glimpsed Henry Cavill’s Superman meeting Jeremy Irons’ Alfred Pennyworth for the first time while wearing a black suit.
The hero wearing the suit no doubt raises questions and offering a theory for this, Tom Bacon, writing for Screenrant, had this to say:
Snyder’s version is a little different to the comics, in that it incorporates a cape, suggesting Superman won’t need to wear the Kryptonian battle armor; the cape would hardly fit inside it. Still, the theme of identity that ran through “Reign of the Supermen” appears to have been retained, because notice that Superman is walking past two potential suits. The first is a Kryptonian battle armor, signifying Superman’s heritage, while the second is the Superman costume. This presumably means that, in choosing the Superman outfit rather than the battle armor, Clark Kent is embracing his new role. He has resolved the matter of his Kryptonian heritage, and committed himself to the Earth at last. Snyder has indicated the voice of Jor-El will be heard in this scene, indicating Superman may well have his father’s guidance.”
