Milly Bobby Brown is unstoppable in the official trailer for Netflix’s Enola Holmes…
Yes! We have seen what awaits us when the sister of the most famous detective in fiction arrives on the big screen. And l daresay we have something unique coming.
Since she stunned audiences and won hearts in Stranger Things, Milly Bobby Brown has only gotten better at acting, something quite obvious in the trailer for Enola Holmes.
Summarizing the events of the plot from her perspective, Enola shows us her close bond with her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) before she disappears.
Instead of being brought up in the expected lady-like way, Enola’s parent teaches her how to fight, and she shows an affinity for such activity.
Enola’s search for her missing mother leads her to her two brothers, Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin); siblings who are bewildered by her unusual ways. While the older Holmes disapproves of her behavior, Sherlock thinks she is intelligent.
From then on, the clip shows the little heroine in her adventures, bravely facing oppositions and having a swell time in the process.
I love that the movie has humor at its center and Brown seems to be a perfect casting choice. Also, I look forward to her banter with her on-screen brothers.
Enola Holmes premieres on Netflix on September 23. The trailer is available for viewing below:
Taron Egerton as Wolverine? Nah, not happening!
British star Taron Egerton has renounced claims he has been cast as the Marvel Comics anti-hero Wolverine.
The denial comes following continued art being posted by fans depicting the Rocketman actor as the adamantium-wielding mutant.
Speaking with GQ, Egerton said that there was no truth to the rumors, adding that it was flattering to be associated with the role.
“That anyone thinks I would be good for the part is really flattering. I love Marvel, but it’s just fan stuff. There is no grounding for those rumors.”
