Why the Batmobile in Matt Reeves’ The Batman is so special…
Jeffrey Wright, the actor who plays Commissioner Gordon in the upcoming DC film The Batman is giving fans more reasons to look forward to the movie.
Wright recently talked about Robert Pattinson’s version of the super automobile, explaining what excited him about it based on what was written on the script.
Speaking via an interview with SiriusXM, the actor disclosed that he was drawn to the Batmobile from the get-go.
“One of the aspects of the script that I was really stoked about was the Batmobile, the way it was described. It was described as this kind of retro, hyper-hemified muscle car, that was just the craziest, coolest thing you’d ever seen. And when I read that I said ‘A ha, yes.”
He stated that the Batmobile design reflects Reeves’ approach to the entire film.
“…Because what it was trying to achieve, and what it does achieve, is to create an accessibility for our Gotham, a world that is tangible and grounded in a very familiar reality. But at the same time, it’s still fantastical, it’s still tweaked. It’s still arch, but it’s accessible.”
The Batman trailer has no single shot of CGI…
Movie fans were absolutely delighted with the first teaser trailer for The Batman as it gave them a lot to talk about; the hero’s beginning and the director’s vision.
Jim Gordon actor Jeffrey Wright, talking further in his interview with SiriusXM, shared a little bit of information regarding the trailer.
His words:
“I think if you look at the trailer, if I am not mistaken, there is not one CGI image in the entire thing. That’s all photograph.”
His disclosure confirms what some fans have been debating about; that Reeves will do use very little CGI for the movie to make it as grounded in reality as possible.
Whether there is CGI or not, what I’m concerned about is seeing something different and an unforgettable performance from lead star Robert Pattinson.
A new species of dinosaur in Jurassic World: Dominion?
Filming is presently underway in the latest film in the Jurassic World series and it promises to be the most ambitious yet, with some of the actors of the earlier installment making a return to reprise their roles.
I suppose the challenge for the director Colin Trevorrow is how do you make a third dinosaur film (in addition to the first three in the franchise) without being repetitive? That answer could be bringing a different breed of the prehistoric monsters to life.
New set photos reveal a brand new design for what could be (according to the tweet) “Dominion’s Pyroraptor.”
Looks Like This Might Be Jurassic World Dominion’s Pyroraptor Which I Reported On A Few Months Back.

Now this is just a maquette not an animatronic so it’s used for reference and the design might change for the final film.

Jurassic World: Dominion will be the end of the iconic film series so Trevorrow and the cast will want to give something that would perhaps be the best yet.
We will find out in due time of course.
