Dune is bigger than Game of Thrones and Aquaman, says Jason Momoa…
Dune is one of those movies that can’t just afford to bomb at the box office, plus fans and critics have high hopes for it.
Part of its appeal is the sheer number of acting talents it boasts among its cast, and among them is the King of Atlantis himself, Jason Momoa.
The imposing star plays Duncan Idaho in the forthcoming Dune adaptation and along with his co-stars has been hyping the film, with the actor saying it is nothing like the other action films he has done before.
Momoa’s words:
“How does this compare? Well, I’ve never worked with a director on this scale. Denis is a cinematic genius, and generally all the action stuff that I’ve done has been nowhere, even remotely close to Denis. Just watching some of the moves that I would do, and going behind the camera and seeing Greig’s eye, with Denis, I’ve never seen something so beautiful in a fight scene. Generally the things that I do don’t look that good. So thank you, Denis.”
Tom Holland is excited as he gives fans an update on the set of filming for Uncharted…
Shedding his spandex for the clothes of an adventurer, Holland plays Nathan Drake in the film based on the popular video game, temporarily leaving a popular character for another.
The Spider-Man actor recently talked about his enthusiasm for how Uncharted is shaping up during an Instagram live session.
When a fan asked how filming was going on the movie, Holland said that it was everything he has dreamed it could be.
Holland said:
“Filming is going so well. The film is like, everything I dreamed it would be. I mean, I don’t know if you guys played the games, but I was such a huge fan of the game, and it’s been going so well.”
Malcolm & Marie acquired by Netflix…
While many movies had to halt production due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Zendaya and John David Washington were busy shooting a dramatic feature titled Malcolm & Marie.
THR reports that the movie (which was helmed by Euphoria creator Sam Levinson) has been acquired by the streaming giant, and Levine said of the acquisition:
“I am so grateful to this cast and crew, many of whom are my Euphoria family, for coming together during such uncertain times. We felt privileged to be able to make this film together and we did so with a lot of love. We are all thrilled that it has ended up with Netflix which is unparalleled in allowing filmmakers the freedom to tell their stories that reach audiences all over the world.”
Malcolm & Marie tells the story of Washington as a filmmaker, and his girlfriend (Zendaya) returning home after a celebrated movie premiere.
Instead of the success they are expecting to celebrate, the pair are faced with revelations about their relationship which tests the strength of their love.
