2023: SouthWest Ready To Produce The Next President – Akande

The All Progressives Congress has said the South-West of Nigeria wants to elect the next president in 2023.

Akande was a speaker at the meeting on Friday of presidential candidates from the southwest.

The meeting concluded with Baba Akande announcing that all parties are united in the SouthWest to produce the president of Nigeria over 2023.

At the meeting, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Bola Tinubu, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola were present.

Others include Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu; and his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The National Secretary of the APC, Senator Iyiola Omisore, was also at the meeting.
