Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his Osun state counterpart, Gboyega Oyetola both held top positions in the national convention committee of the All Progressives Congress.
While Sanwo-Olu chairs the Finance and Logistics committee, Oyetola, alongside Borno state governor Babagana Zulum heads the Accommodation committee.
Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe will chair the committee for the party’s presidential primary special convention while finance minister Zainab Ahmed will serve as the committee co-chair, according to a statement on Wednesday by APC’s national publicity secretary Felix Morka.
The APC presidential primary is slated to hold between June 6 and 8.
