Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Ivorian Midfielder Franck Kessie, from AC Milan as a free agent, OduNews reports.
Kessie signs his contract as a free agent for four years with a release clause of €500 million. He underwent his medical in Milan and will be presented in front of the Tito Vilanova training ground on July 6th after signing his contract.
The Ivorian midfielder ended his tenure with Milan on a high, winning Serie A ahead of the likes of Inter Milan and Juventus. During the season, he scored six goals in 31 appearances.
He is an excellent set-piece taker and is known for his late runs into the penalty box. A technically gifted player, Kessie is also a brilliant defender with a physically imposing physique.
