The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, got tongues wagging on Sunday after he posted a picture of World Cup winner, Lionel Messi, on his Twitter page.
The former Lagos state governor shared an edited picture of the Argentine playmaker donning a cap with his famous emblem. He captioned the post “Emi lo kan of Doha”
Tinubu became synonymous with the “Emi lo kan” (It is my turn) mantra during a meeting with stakeholders ahead of the APC presidential primary in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

The post by the APC presidential candidate comes as the Argentine forward led his country to its third world cup title – the first in 26 years.
The World Cup final between Argentina and France was played at the Lusali Stadium in Doha, the capital of Qatar.
Messi scored two goals in a pulsating game that ended 3-3 after extra time and was followed by a penalty shootout.
Meanwhile, the tweet has continued to garner mixed reactions from Twitter users.

Messi scored a brace, captained his team, played every minute.
He didn't sit on the bench asking El Rufai to score or take penalties.
He attended debates. He was healthy.
He’s done it over & over again. He didn’t order referee to give his own team red card.

Why are "Influencers" crying the most under this tweet? You were paid to sell your candidate, not to cry under his opponent Twitter. Be professional and support your paymaster with your chest.
