Elon Musk Prepares To Step Down As Twitter CEO
Elon Musk

While Elon Musk is presently the CEO of Twitter, he is prepared to step down after having purchased the firm. He made a video appearance at the World Government Summit in Dubai, where he stated his goal to “stabilise the organisation” and guarantee its financial well-being. Musk said that once he steps down, the firm would be managed by someone else.

The self-described free speech absolutist has already discussed leaving his post as chief executive, but this is the first indication of a possible date. The billionaire, according to sources who spoke with Bloomberg, is currently on the hunt for a new CEO of Twitter, and the transfer is scheduled to take place before the end of the year. Because of Musk’s absence, some Tesla investors are getting uneasy. Musk, for his part, claims that it is now easier to run Space X and Tesla than it was three to five years ago.

During his video chat with the UAE’s minister of cabinet affairs, Elon Musk referred to Twitter as “a startup in reverse.” When it comes to being “in a solid position,” the social network still has a long way to go. He sleeps only six hours a night while working seven days a week, but he hopes to cut that down to four days a week.
