Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai says he no longer believes in the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari over recent decisions of the administration.
The Governor in an interview with Premium Times categorically stated that he no longer believes in Buhari’s leadership.
He, however, said he believes in Buhari but not his leadership because of those around him.
“I believe in Buhari, I still do and I will never stop, but I no longer believe in the circle around him and the quality of decisions and actions coming out of that leadership,” El-Rufai said.
Recall that El-Rufai alleged in a chat with Channels TV last week, that some cabals in the presidency were working against the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
He claimed that the Naira redesign policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, was a plot to make the ruling party’s candidate unpopular.
Tinubu had also made a similar claim insisting that the current fuel and naira scarcity was targeted at making him unpopular among the electorate.
