Manchester United has confirmed that Ethan Galbraith, their 22-year-old midfielder, is set to join Leyton Orient on a permanent basis, according to a recent announcement on the club’s official website.
Galbraith, who spent the 2022/2023 season on loan with Salford City in League Two, will be starting a new chapter in East London, joining Leyton Orient, following their recent promotion. The young midfielder has agreed to a two-year deal with his new club.
The Northern Irish footballer’s career at Manchester United included a notable Europa League appearance against Astana in Kazakhstan in 2019. However, that was his only first-team outing for the Reds.
In the statement announcing Galbraith’s departure, Manchester United expressed their best wishes for the player’s future endeavors. The club also acknowledged the role of their Academy in his development, underlining their pride in his progress.
“Ethan Galbraith is yet another player from our Academy that we can take great pride in. We wish him the utmost success as he embarks on this new chapter of his career with Leyton Orient,” the statement read.
