Jimmy Odukoya Ordained to Lead Fountain of Life Church

In a poignant and significant development, forty days after the passing of the beloved Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, the leadership of the Fountain of Life Church has announced the ordination of his son, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, as his successor. This solemn transition is scheduled to take place on September 30, 2023.

The announcement was made during a Sunday Church Service by the Church Board of Trustees, who revealed that the succession plan had been confirmed by Pastor Taiwo Odukoya himself before his demise. This carefully planned transition aims to ensure the continuity and smooth leadership of the church.

Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, the eldest son of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and Bimbo Odukoya, is a prominent Nigerian actor. He gained recognition for his role as Oba Ade in the 2022 blockbuster movie, “The Woman King,” where he shared the screen with Hollywood stars Viola Davis and John Boyega. His education background includes a degree from Oral Roberts University in the United States.

The Church’s Board of Trustees has wholeheartedly endorsed Jimmy’s new position, affirming their faith in his leadership abilities. Additionally, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, who served as the spiritual mentor of the late Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, will officiate the ordination ceremony on the 30th of September, underscoring the spiritual significance of this transition.
