Renowned music artist Davido has married his longtime partner, Chioma Rowland, in a grand ceremony held at Eko Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.
The event, one of the most anticipated weddings of the year, drew numerous celebrities, dignitaries, and well-wishers to celebrate the couple’s union.
As part of the traditional Igbo wedding customs, Davido respectfully prostrated before Chioma’s parents to formally ask for her hand in marriage and seek their blessings. He assured them of his commitment to their daughter, pledging to protect and cherish her.
Expressing his gratitude to Chioma’s parents, Davido promised to honor their trust and make them proud. “It is a lifetime assurance. Your daughter will be protected, respected, and connected. Mummy and Daddy, I love you, I am happy on this day and this is the happiest day of my life,” Davido declared.
