Victor Osimhen opened his goal account for Galatasaray with a brace as the Turkish giants played out an entertaining 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa at the RAMS Park on Sunday.
Osimhen, 25, scored two goals in quick succession to give Galatasaray an early lead. He opened the scoring in the 20th minute and added a second just eight minutes later, continuing his impressive start to life in the Turkish Super Lig. Mauro Icardi extended Galatasaray’s lead in the 34th minute with a third goal.
Kasimpasa, however, mounted a strong comeback, with Mamadou Fall, Haris Hairadinovic, and Nuno Da Costa finding the net to secure a point for the visitors.
Osimhen, who has now recorded two goals and two assists in just three league appearances, was substituted for Dries Mertens after halftime. Kenneth Omeruo, another Nigerian international, featured for Kasimpasa and played 70 minutes in the thrilling encounter.
Galatasaray remains unbeaten in the Turkish Super Lig this season, with Osimhen continuing to shine in his new colors.
