Netflix Teams Up With Duolingo to Teach Fans Korean Ahead of Squid Game Season 2

Ahead of the much-awaited second season of Netflix’s hit Korean thriller Squid Game, the streaming platform has partnered with language-learning app Duolingo to help fans dive into the Korean language.

Duolingo now offers over 40 phrases and keywords inspired by the series, including iconic terms like “dolgana,” the honeycomb candy featured in the first season. Other phrases available for learning include “Trust no one,” “Let’s play a game,” and “You’ve been eliminated,” adding a fun, thematic twist to language practice.

These phrases are seamlessly integrated into Duolingo’s existing Korean lessons, creating an engaging way for fans to familiarize themselves with the language while connecting to the show’s narrative.

With Squid Game Season 2 set to premiere on December 26, Netflix and Duolingo’s collaboration offers viewers a chance to deepen their cultural appreciation of the show and engage with its themes in a new and interactive way.
