Elizabeth Banks’ Charlie’s Angels failed to make an impression at the box office and the actress and director has reacted to the development.
The film is a reboot of the original directed by McG which starred Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Lui. It was widely accepted and spawned a sequel.
The reboot was written, produced, and directed by Elizabeth Banks who also played the role of Bosley in the movie. Her response to the movie’s flop was: “Well, if you’re going to have a flop, make sure your name is on it at least 4x. I’m proud of #CharliesAngels and happy it’s in the world.”
