Vin Diesel will find out the truth and serve his own version of vengeance in the second trailer for upcoming superhero film Bloodshot.
Diesel is a soldier who lost his life in what seems to be an assassination. His wife was also killed and he is given a second shot when he is resurrected by a team of scientists.
Bringing the hero back from the dead comes with the added perks of being enhanced with nanotechnology, bestowing him with super-strength, speed, and agility.
Guy Pearce is Dr. Emil Harting, the man who heads the team of scientists. His control over Ray (Diesel) leads the latter to question his motives and soon it is revealed that the doctor is hiding something.
Ray breaks out of the facility, determined to uncover the truth of what really happened and finds out about a conspiracy far bigger than he anticipated.
The second clip gives us more insight into the level of control that the protagonist is subjected to and how the controllers use him for their own self-interest.
The action scenes are a bit longer and the cool slow-motion effect captures the eye-catching fight sequences as the hero does some major damage with his enhanced abilities.
Directed by David Wilson, Bloodshot stars Vin Diesel, Guy Pearce, Eiza Gonzalez, Toby Kebbell, and Sam Heughan. It is scheduled for release on March 13, 2020.
