The Batman actress Zoe Kravitz can’t wait to resume shooting for the movie, but an important thing to remember is getting touched by a lot of people on set.
Ever since movie and television productions have been shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, actors have been forced to stay indoors, waiting for the day they will be called back for projects.
Zoe Kravitz plays Catwoman in Matt Reeves’ upcoming movie The Batman. Filming had just commenced when the outbreak of the novel coronavirus put a halt to the production.
Recently, the actress talked about how badly she itches to go back to work.
“[I’m] hoping to wake up every day to an email or a phone call saying, ‘We’re ready to go. I’m in touch with everybody, and everyone’s ready to go when it’s safe.”
She goes further to say that people have to touch her face and body repeatedly as she needs help getting into the catsuit.
You have people just touching your face, touching your body all day long. I need help getting into the catsuit. I can’t do it on my own. I was probably touched more than any job, just because of the clothes and the combat and all of that.”
The above statement potentially puts members of the cast and crew at risk because even when filming begins, there will still be the fear of getting infected with the virus, especially with asymptomatic people.
Hopefully, Kravitz’s fears will be allayed somehow so she can focus on the heavy responsibility of giving fans a different and refreshing take on a character that has been portrayed by other actresses before now.
