Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince will tackle a foe the likes of which she has never seen in Wonder Woman 1984. We all saw a brief glimpse of the heroine fierce adversary in the new trailer for the sequel but now an even better perspective has emerged.
Thanks to Iron Studios, a new statue of Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah based on her looks in the upcoming movie has given fans another opportunity to behold the character’s design.
Like the animal she is named after, the antagonist possesses speed and will most likely give Diana a worthy fight.

Eddie Murphy’s Nutty Professor is returning in a reboot…
We are in the era of remakes, reboots, reimaginings, prequels, and sequels, and so filmmakers are taking advantage of this to revisit past features with the aim of making them better for today’s audiences.
Deadline reports that the rights to The Nutty Professor have been secured by Project X and that the classic comedy is getting a reboot.
The news drew mixed reactions from fans as both movies made were classics in their own rights. Personally, I see no reason for a reboot because in a bid to make something better, the filmmakers could ruin the project. A good example of this is Robert Downey’s Dolittle movie (another film which had Eddie Murphy starring in it when it was first released).
The corrupt fictional city of Gotham is coming via a series…
At the DC FanDome event which held virtually during the weekend, The Batman director Matt Reeves talked about the forthcoming Gotham P.D. series which is a prequel to the movie.
Said to be a show that will explore the corrupt history of Batman’s city, the series is set in the first year of Batman’s journey as the Caped Crusader.
Reeves said:
“For me, the idea of this story was a story in which Gotham, which has this depth of corruption, and then the idea that we could actually do a series that is going deeper into an aspect of it, which in this case is the corrupt police department and the corrupt inner workings of the city.
The idea is we go back to year one and year one is the beginning,” Reeves said. “It’s the first appearance of this masked vigilante that unsettles the city.
You start to see the story through the point-of-view of these corrupt cops. And one in particular. The story is actually a battle for his soul. He’s a cop over generations and the history of corruption in Gotham is enormous and goes back many years.”
