Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated Lauretta Onochie as the substantive chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
Ahmed Lawan, the Senate President, on Wednesday read nominations letters sent to the senate by the president naming 14 others as board members.
Lauretta Onochie is currently the Special Assistant on Social Media to President Buhari. Prior to that, she was the Public Affairs Officer at the All Progressives Congress National headquarters. Ms. Onochie is a graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Benin, Edo State.
