Oyemade, known for organizing The Platform Nigeria, a platform for discussions on nation-building and development, including notable speakers like former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, took to his verified Twitter handle on Thursday to dismiss the false and damaging statement made by Fr. Oluoma in an online video.

In his tweet, Oyemade stated, “Mercy Chinwo sang at our service at Lekki last Sunday, and the honorarium we gave was at our discretion. She made NO formal charges.”
Oyemade directly addressed a report where Fr. Oluoma claimed that Chinwo demanded 10 million naira to perform at worship centers, criticizing gospel musicians who ask for exorbitant fees to perform in places of worship.
